Hay and contracting
Contract jobs, hay stock and invoicing - without the whiteboard.
From the job sheet to the invoice: the operator records the job and bale count, the hay goes into stock by shed, orders draw it down, and the finished work comes onto an invoice for Xero.
Core + Contracting & hay is $74 + GST a month. Running cattle as well? Core + Livestock + Contracting & hay is $94. No card needed for the trial.
Sound familiar?
- Jobs on a whiteboard and bale counts on the back of a hand
- Not sure how much hay is in shed 2 versus what's already sold
- Vendor declarations filled out by hand for every load
- Finished jobs that never quite make it onto an invoice
How it works
- 1. Book and do the job
Job by client and paddock. The operator logs hours, area and bales on the phone.
- 2. Into stock
Bales go into hay lots by shed, so you can see what's where and what's still unsold.
- 3. Sell and deliver
Orders draw from one or more lots. The fodder vendor declaration is signed and emailed, and the buyer signs to say they got it.
- 4. Invoice it
Finished jobs and delivered hay line up by customer at your prices. Send them to Xero as drafts or approved invoices, or print them.
